Region 5 Volunteer Monitoring NMC Add-On Session

UPDATE: Due to the recent federal travel restrictions, unfortunately the Friday workshop has been cancelled. We are very sorry for this disappointment and appreciate your understanding as we navigate this challenging situation together.

This session is a collaborative, networking opportunity for Region 5 (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Ohio) and the greater Midwest volunteer monitoring program coordinators. State, Tribal, local watershed group, and federal agency partners who coordinate a volunteer monitoring program are welcome. The agenda will include discussion topics and hands-on activities that focus on the themes of “Training, Team-Building, and Engagement”.

A separate, $75, registration fee is required to attend this session. For those who want to attend both the Thursday conference sessions and the Friday workshop (rather than attend the full conference), a discounted registration rate of $355 is available. Admission to choice of Thursday sessions, breakfast, a plenary lunch, and morning and afternoon beverage breaks are included for Thursday, as well as an account on the Whova conference app to access networking and virtual programming. A morning coffee break and lunch will be provided on Friday.

Note: the discounted Thursday add-in is only for Region 5 attendees not originally planning to attend or not getting travel approval for the full conference.
