NALMS, along with our local partners and dedicated conference committee, are excited to host the 45th International Symposium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina! In an era of mounting environmental pressures - driven by climate change, population growth, and competing demands for water - the resilience of lakes and watersheds is critical to maintaining healthy ecosystems and sustainable water resources for the future. This year's timely theme is "Navigating Change Together: Enhancing Lake, Reservoir, and Watershed Resilience."

Early bird registration rate are available through Friday, September 12th. After this date, rates will rise to the "regular registration" level and be open through Friday, October 24th. The registration fee schedule and cancellation/refund policy is posted on the conference website.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

In the event an attendee needs to cancel their in-person registration, NALMS will offer the following options:
- Offer a credit toward a future NALMS meeting, usable no later than November 1, 2026.
- No refunds will be given except in the event of extenuating circumstances, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis by NALMS. Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing by email to nalms2025@nalms.org.
If the registered attendee cannot attend, someone else may attend in their place with no additional fee.
In the event the symposium is moved to a completely online format, in-person registrations will be applied to the online registration fee and refunds will be issued for the difference.
In the event the symposium is cancelled with no online alternative, NALMS will issue full refunds to all attendees and exhibitors.
Attendee-initiated changes in registration status must be submitted by email to nalms2025@nalms.org and will be charged a $25 fee.
